Hello and welcome! I am an author, mostly of children's books involving adventures and funny goings-on. My debut novel is called The Mapmaker and the Ghost (Bloomsbury/Walker) and is available everywhere now! Here are some fun homepage-y facts about me:

- I am named after a tree. Specifically a cypress tree. It looks like this:

  1. -My name is pronounced Sar (like the first part of Sara) - ve (rhymes with yeah) - naz (rhymes with 'cuz). Or you can just listen to me pronouncing it here.

And here is some praise for The Mapmaker and the Ghost:

“Tash has created a memorable cast of characters and a story that combines both humor and suspense...This page-turning adventure will tickle readers’ funny bones.” - School Library Journal

"Full of adventure and mystery, this novel is sure to bring out the explorer in every reader...RECOMMENDED.” - Library Media Connection

“Hilarious and creative...I was enchanted by this book and didn’t want it to end.” - That’s Swell!
